A number of programs are currently running that might be of interest:
- Child Behaviour Research Clinic (University of Sydney) which works with families and children 2 to 8 years with mental health or behavioural/conduct concerns. Located in Camperdown, it is a free service, however families who go through the service do so in a research partnership, meaning they complete assessment and follow up measures. - Webinar: "Whole of Family Approaches where there is ongoing contact with children" on Thursday 6 July 2017, 1.30pm - 2.30pm. This webinar will look at options for working with families where fathers who use violence continue to have extensive contact on children. A range of strategies and emerging practices will be explored. More information
Kookaburra Kids Program: free school holiday camps and events for kids who live in a family where there is a mental illness (for more information, see brochure). They are run across a wide range of dates (dates 2017)
Take Action Group- Community Health. For children in years 3 - 6 who experience anxiety and their parents. 8 free sessions will be running, starting from 2nd August at Croydon. (Take Action Flyer)
