The following information will inform teachers of the provision for learning support within the classrooms with a focus over 2013 - 2014 as outlined by DEC.
As stated in this document "12% of the school population have a disability and/or additional needs related to difficulties in learning or behaviour."
These students are a part of every regular school and it is crucial that teachers are aware of and are trained to implement an appropriate learning framework to cater for the needs of all students within their classes.
